Our Every Life Secure Emergency Preparedness Gear Grants help community non-profit organizations prepare to secure lives in an emergency or disaster.
YOU CAN GET HELP: If your non-profit group would like to receive up to $500 in an "Every Life Secure" Emergency Preparedness Gear Grant to help your community in an emergency or disaster, simply email us at [email protected] and answer three questions:
1) What is your website URL? (So we can lean more about the great work you do in your community).
2) What emergency preparedness item(s) available on www.lifesecure.com would help you keep every life secure in your community?
3) How would you use these supplies to keep every life secure in your communituy in case of an emergency or disaster?
Every Life Secure Emergency Preparedness Gear Grant requests may be made by an authorized representative of any community non-profit group. This may include, but is not limited to, representatives of community non-profit groups such as schools, medical facilities, community centers, CERT groups, Search & Rescue squads, volunteer fire departments and other non-profit organizations. No grants will be aware to for-profit organizations.
Every Life Secure Emergency Preparedness Gear Grants may be requested for gear listed on www.lifesecure.com and valued at between $50 and $500. All gear grants will be made with actual emergency kits or supplies. No cash grants will be made. The awards will be made at the full retail value listed on www.lifesecure.com
Every Life Secure Emergency Preparedness Gear Grants will be made by an internal committee of emergency preparedness product experts. Grants will be made on the basis of available funds, the applicant's response to application questions, and the positive work of the non-profit organization. All decisions made by the grant committee are final. All grantees agree to submit a picture of people in their organization with the donated gear and have this image and information shared on social media.
Every Life Secure Emergency Preparedness Gear Grant applications not accepted for award in any given quarter will be kept for up to one year and will still be eligible for a quarterly grant at that time. The grant application will expire one year from the date of submission.
Community organizations may apply for only one grant at a time. Once a grant has been awarded or the grant application has expired, the organization may apply again for a grant.
