Always be ready to Shelter In Place (SIP). It's a basic emergency preparedness lesson. No one in Boston could have anticipated just a few days ago that parts of the city would be in a government ordered Shelter-In-Place situation because of a manhunt for the Boston Marathon terrorist. None of us can be sure when we might have to do the same for similar or very different reasons.
